ORDINARY EXTRAORDINARY, a new entertainment special hosted by John Ritter and Leanza Cornett, celebrates the human spirit with inspirational stories and accounts of amazing feats accomplished by ordinary people, Friday May 2 (9:00 - 10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Among the inspirational accounts of ordinary people who by choice or by chance have been thrust into extraordinary situations, is the story of Ahad Israfil, a young man from Dayton Ohio, who is a medical marvel, having survived after losing nearly half his brain in an accidental shooting. Ahad underwent radical brain surgery during which doctors miraculously

reconstructed his skull to conceal the caved-in section of his head.

The program offered an amazing in-studio performance of an Extreme Games bicycle champ performing a never-before-attempted stunt in which he speeds down a 40-foot ramp and does two complete back flips on his bike directly over the heads of the audience members.

Other notable stories featured in the special ranged from the heartwarming to the heart-stopping including:

Daredevils who turn ordinary skydiving into "skydriving" by sitting in cars dropped from an airplane.

Mountain bikers who race their $20,000 aerodynamic "bicycle bullets," modified from ordinary

mountain bikes, down snowy mountain tops at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.

Fan Yang, the bubble man, who creates amazing bubble sculptures by using only ordinary soap and water.

An extraordinary Dalmatian who rides an ordinary bicycle.

ORDINARY/ EXTRAORDINARY, filmed in
